Dutra Materials has generously offered to allow us to reassemble our station at their new location once the Environmental Impact Report is approved for the Asphalt Plant. The new location will be at the extreme south end of Petaluma Boulevard South.
In the meantime Nor Cal Building Materials and Shamrock Materials came to the rescue and allowed us to use two bays of their three bay shop at the Sand Depot on Petaluma Boulevard South. This allows us to keep our Type 1/Rescue 9581 and our Pumper/Tender 9596 inside and at a location close to Hwy 101.
We have been in temporary quarters for just about 4 years. It has taken quite the toll on the department but we have managed to stay together and still provide the same quality customer service to our residents and visitors just like we always have.
With the heavy opposition of the Dutra Asphalt plant, San Antonio VFD is in need of help. We need to secure a site location and funding. We are hoping to keep our operation near the Petaluma Boulevard South Area. We are reaching out to all of our Neighbors, Citizens, Businesses, Community Leaders and Politicians for help.
Please contact us immediately if you can HELP.
